Goals, Fanart, and Photos

The third round of boards is on the way. In the meantime, I'll be working on stuff to submit to the senior showcase at my school by this Friday... which means I gotta act fast and whip something up before then.

Also, Ev had suggested that I try posting a comic or short boards for an idea at least once every week. Starting next Monday, I'll start doin' that for this blog (in addition to posting other stuff).

Secondly, here's a fan illustration of Mr. Bee, a character invented by Tina Vaziri:

Finally, over the past weekend I went to see the screening of a documentary that my good friend Tiffany Sanchez directed and produced (I helped a little bit with the cinematography). In the documentary 4 residents of the Sunrise Retirement Home were interviewed, as well as one of the retirement home staff. In short, it was a biography of 5 people's lives. Since the screening was on the same night as the Academy Awards, we decided to dress up for our event, which incidentally had its own red carpet!

And here is one of my closest friends (who incidentally is also my boss), John:

I know this hasn't got to do anything with what was written in the blog, I just have a small question.

You're in Calarts right?
Do they accept students from abroad?

Nope, I'm not in Calarts.

...I wish I was going there... for free, or at least cheaper than what they make students pay.

I would check out their website and contact their admissions office for information regarding whether or not they accept students from abroad. :)

that makes this situation a bit awkward. I'm sorry for assuming that you were a student of CalArts. You were so talented so... I just thought that that might've been the case.

However I checked out whether they accept student from abroad or not, and it seems as you mentioned, that money is the only problem.

However there are two years left until it's time for me to apply for CalArts if the opportunity and the money shows :)

Thank you for the kind reply!
