Yarrr!!

Beginning progress shots for my final painting for the Clothed Figure drawing studio. It's on 24x30" watercolor paper. Gonna try gouache, but might have to resort to acrylic, which is more plentiful and less expensive. Please excuse the atrocious picture quality.





This was taken at an angle, so his head/body is much larger here than in the actual drawing




And here's the (mostly) finished painting from before. Ended up throwing a little Medusa in there at the end.

Great stuff Rosie! Its been a while since Ive seen your work, everything is looking awesome! You might want to consider going digital though, this whole painting and drawing thing is a dead art form. Oh Snap! just kidding, keep up the awesomeness!

Hello there! I came across your great artwork and was hoping to ask you something.

You showed the process you took for the oil painting, but you go to digital after working with oil? So did you somehow print your digital work back onto a canvas sheet so you can resume painting on it or...? Sorry, I get confused easily. :\ Thank you!
